Play 2 Learn Day Nursery - Grays

Nursery Life – A Hive of Activity

The great thing about nursery is that the possibilities for learning are endless. Your child’s experiences through free play, physical activity and guided learning combine to shape their development as a whole person having a positive lifelong impact.

Our classrooms are arranged by age group from babies to pre-schoolers (0-5 years).

Each classroom is kitted out with fantastic learning resources and is supported by our experienced and passionate team.

Unstructured play enables your child to nurture their curiosity and encourages creative and inventive thought. By observing what your child likes to do, we can tailor activities to suit their interests. We want to really understand your child as an individual.

We support play by setting the stage and following your child’s interests. Our enhanced curriculum and extra-curricular activities then allow us to introduce your child to new concepts and experiences. We provide the framework from which your child can grow and explore.

Outdoor play helps develop healthy minds and bodies. Being outside and expending energy provides endless opportunities for creativity and improves fitness and physical development.

We believe children should learn from a young age the importance of helping their fellow citizens. We participate in charitable events that raise awareness through fun and creative activities. We do our best to support the causes that are close to your hearts and those of our team.

A child’s diet in the early years builds the foundations for their ability to grow, learn and thrive. Healthy eating habits in the years before school influence a range of health and development outcomes in later life. We provide healthy meals that are perfectly balanced to ensure your child obtains the right amount of energy, nutrients, and variety of food. We cater for vegetarians, vegans and children with allergies or religious and cultural requirements.

We believe uniforms build a sense of community and help children prepare for school. Your child will arrive looking forward to their day, ready to interact, have fun and learn. You will love how the uniform helps speed up your morning routine, giving you one less thing to worry about! Uniforms are compulsory for our pre-schoolers and optional for toddlers.

Children love Play 2 Learn because they explore, get messy and have fun whilst learning in a supportive and loving environment.

Our Curriculum

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) forms the foundation of our curriculum. We enhance the EYFS by adding our magical mix of love, care and attentiveness to everything we do. Our Programme provides exceptional care, support and structure, while also being adaptable to suit the individual needs of each child. Your child will develop a sense of self, making them a well-rounded individual who is ready to step into the wider world.
