Our youngest classroom, Caterpillars, is for crawlers and early walkers, just starting their journey at Play 2 Learn. Your child will begin to interact with the world around them and develop their communication skills.
As your child becomes more confident in their walking and engaged in their learning journey, they move into Butterflies. Here we build on their language, emotional skills and mobility. In our baby rooms, the emphasis is very much on providing home-from-home care with lots of play, love and attention.
To ensure a smooth, stress-free transition from home to nursery life, settling-in sessions are always arranged. During these sessions, your baby’s needs and any special requirements can be discussed with our team.
At two years of age, your child will move onto Bumblebees. This is an exciting time for your child with many new challenges, experiences and opportunities. A real time of learning and exploration! This is also a time when children are developing their independence but also need support and encouragement to build their self-esteem and positive attachments. We motivate your child to try new things, support them with new challenges and praise their efforts and achievements however big or little!
During their time in Bumblebees, the children will be prepared for the exciting move to preschool when they turn three.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) forms the foundation of our curriculum. We enhance the EYFS by adding our magical mix of love, care and attentiveness to everything we do. Our Programme provides exceptional care, support and structure, while also being adaptable to suit the individual needs of each child. Your child will develop a sense of self, making them a well-rounded individual who is ready to step into the wider world.
As part of our enhanced curriculum, we offer an exciting range of extra-curricular clubs and events that play an important part in helping children to develop practical life skills. We believe all children should have equal learning opportunities, so we incorporate these activities as part of our fees:
We take part in experiments that nurture curious minds and enhance your child’s understanding of the world.
Jump, jog, twist, and sprint! Our Sporty Champs classes develop your child’s motor-skills and coordination in this much-loved class.
A school readiness programme like no other! 12 weeks of tailor-made, practical activities that will get your child familiar and comfortable with school routines.
Educate, imagine, inspire! That is the ethos of our Tiny Mites classes where your child gets to express themselves through song, theatre shows and dance.
Crunch, crunch, crunch! The sound of autumn leaves is magical and musical! From jumping in muddy puddles to checking into the bug hotel, our nature nurture club is sure to spark your child’s sense of excitement and wonder in the outdoors.
And breathe…after an action-packed day of learning and play, our mindful moments session helps children relax and unwind before they head home.
We celebrate our pre-schoolers time with us at our summer graduation event. The ceremony gives them a sense of achievement and they leave feeling ready for the next stage of their lives.
